September Check-In: FINALLY!
Real Life, Workout

It’s been two months, and now it’s the 13th. I know. It’s awful. I’m sorry.

As far as what I’ve been up to….

I’ve been ALL over the place these past two months. Though August I kept up my regular 2x Crossfit, 2x Derby schedule, but the past few weeks I’ve been Crossfitting a lot more. I’ve added in Olympic Lifting Club and also Open Gyms, so I’d say my workouts have increased quite a bit. I’m also doing a pushup Challenge this month, which started on the 11th. The goal is to hit 100 pushups in 7 weeks. I’m not sure I’ll hit 100, but I’m hoping to at least increase my capacity, because currently I can do… 7 consecutive “standard” pushups. That’s not enough in my book. As I said to my coach today when he asked what I was doing, I said “Torture. In the name of sucking less.” Let’s hope I can get there.

Nutrition wise, I went to an awesome nomnom workshop at CFN, but I’ve *actually* been eating like crud. I’ve got a lot of personal stuff going on and it’s just translated into me eating garbage. It’s not helping and I totally do feel it in the gym. Not. Good.

Overall I’m feeling ok. Things are crazy, I’ve had to fend of dudes in Home Depot who thought I couldn’t manage a 90 bound box IN A CART, and you know, just general life ridiculiousity.

Anyyyyyyyyyyyyway! Here are the stats!

My Comments

Interestingly, the ONLY number that’s changed with much significance since July is my weight, which is down a bit. I thought perhaps muscle mass would go up a touch, but nada! My guess as to why that is, would be because of the aforementioned eating like crap situation. I’m going to do my best to clean that up this next month and hopefully we’ll see some change. One thing I do want to do is be more consistent in exactly where I’m measuring. I’ve been sort of haphazard with it so far, but I want to be more accurate.
